The successful individual will have extensive commercial experience in a technical or pharmaceutical environment or dealing with similar companies as a supplier, as well as being an inspirational leader. They will have experience of creating and delivering strategies, and will buy into our approach to strategy, and enhance it with their own experiences, learning and strategic thinking. They will also: - Be commercially and financially astute, and have a proven record of sales growth; - Be obsessive about delivering great customer service; - Be a strong people manager, able to coach and develop team members; - Be resilient and robust; - Provide both effective challenge and support; - Have a broad knowledge of best practice across sales and business in general; - Be a team player with no ego; - Be clear and analytical in their thinking, and be able to help individuals and teams think at their best; and - Be driven by strong shared values. Ultimately, we are looking for the individual who can have the biggest impact on the performance of their business. The detail The primary role consists of leading a business of 12 people. This includes: - A lab team of 9, headed by a Lab manager; - A QA team of 2; and - A business development manager. IT, HR, finance, and logistics are provided by the Group. The successful candidate will report directly into the CEO.
