Senior Project Manager 1x Permanent 1x 3 year fixed term contract Salary: circa £43,000 Location: Cambridge What it's about- Senior Project Manager, Cambridge- Cambridgeshire We are seeking two experienced Senior Project Managers (Change Managers) to plan, design and manage large-scale business change projects from initiation through to implementation stages. This will combine process improvement and technology projects including involvement in a Cambridge Assessment wide IT transformation project. You will identify the key stakeholders and work with them to identify and rationalise requirement for business change. You will need to influence others to your point of view and negotiate effectively with internal senior stakeholders, clients and suppliers. You should have the ability to constructively challenge the status quo to come up with improved solutions. If you have previously held influential roles in other change project environments, with particular experience in integrated people, process and technology change, then we would like to hear from you. Skills- Senior Project Manager, Cambridge- Cambridgeshire Effective communication skills. Analytical, consultative and management skills. Able to carry out critical appraisals and provide constructive criticism regarding project deliverables. Able to challenge the status quo - constructively and appropriately challenge what, why and how things are. Research techniques - investigate, assess, and assimilate relevant sources to further improve the overall solution approach. Strong prioritisation skills, able to evaluate what has to be done in relation to what can be done and set work priorities for projects. Able to work within a highly pressurised environment. Lateral thinking abilities - creative thinking and problem solving skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to deliver plans with determination and focus. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others at all levels. Able to co-ordinate and organise the activities of others to ensure timely delivery of quality outputs. Experience- Senior Project Manager, Cambridge- Cambridgeshire Relevant experience in a corporate/public sector project-related environment, preferably within a service or support environment. Participation in change projects at senior level; held project manager, lead and other influential roles. Experience in integrated people, process & technology change. Experienced as a team member.
