This company is working with this organisation to help them recruit a marketing manager to join them in a newly created role. This organisation is a successful contract development and manufacturing organisation based in Nottingham (NG8). With over 120 employees in the UK, we specialise in formulation development, analytical services and clinical manufacturing for pharmaceutical clients globally. The wider focus of the organisation, headquartered in Boston USA, is developing therapeutics that address unmet needs in women's health. Due to their growth plans, a new role has been created for a marketing manager to join the team and drive the marketing strategy and plan to support the business' objectives. The role: Working closely with the Business Development team and the Senior Management Team, the marketing manager will be responsible for: - The development and implementation of the marketing strategy and plan for the organisation - Brand management and corporate identity - Internal and external communications - Managing the retained external design and PR agency - Supporting the Business Development team with their activities - Campaign and event management - Copywriting - Social media - Overseeing the marketing budget - The creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans - Planning and implementing promotional campaigns - Managing and improving lead generation campaigns, measuring results - Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity - Preparing online and print marketing campaigns and collateral - Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications - Maintain effective internal communications - Work closely with strategic partners on joint marketing and BD initiatives - Oversee the marketing databases held in SalesForce The ideal candidate will have: - Minimum of a degree in marketing or a related subject - Scientific/pharma background and ideally experience of working within the sector - 5+ years' experience in a marketing role - Strong analytical and project management skills - Excellent organisations skills - A confident and dynamic personality - The ability to work well on their own or as part of a team If you think you are the right person for this role, have enthusiasm and good interpersonal skills please send your CV.
