Your new role In this role you will also be monitoring database efficiency whilst sustaining the security and integrity of data. You will also be setting up and testing new database and data handling systems. You will be working with other members of the team in assisting with database design as well as updating and amending existing databases. In addition to these you will be training colleagues in how to input and extract data and reviewing and performance tuning stored procedures. Creating complex query definitions that allow data extraction is also part of this role. What you'll need to succeed Experience of development and coding is essential. You will need experience of Microsoft SQL Server 2008. As well as this you will need to have the ability to deal with multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines in addition to having a competent level of numeracy.
