ICT Procurement Manager- Public Sector Our client, a forward thinking, aspirational organisation is looking for a ICT Procurement Manager to join their business in a newly created permanent role, offering up to £50,000 plus fantastic benefits based in Croydon. (Fantastic links by train from Central London, Surrey, Kent and West London, served by mainline trains with easy links from M25) The Successful ICT Procurement Manager will be responsible for the purchasing and procurement of a range of cross portfolio, software, hardware and services, as well as looking after our organisations portfolio of complex and highly important ICT Supplier contracts. Primarily you will be responsible for all aspects of what make a procurement and contract commercially viable and successful for the organisation, from a cost, SLA, support, performance perspective and deliver improvements to governance and forward planning across commercial contracts for the business. The purpose of the role is to: Procure and deliver and range of competitive hardware, software and services for our organization, In line with business and commercial objectives. Ensure ICT contracts are managed effectively in terms of cost, quality and delivery. Monitor and report on supplier financial, commercial and service performance and action contract clauses as required Review and develop the policies and procedure used to govern and administrate all elements of each contract To identify and drive continuous service improvements and savings initiatives into the supplier's delivery model. Support the development and implementation of new contracts prior to contract commencement and during the early months of operation. Essential knowledge needed: ICT Procurement experience of ideally services, software and hardware, ideally in the public sector, but other highly governed, process driven sectors welcomed. Procurement Process Management Law relating to Publicly Funded ICT Procurements and ICT Contracts Contract negotiation Management of ICT Service Providers in a multi-sourced environment ITIL process knowledge, as the role focuses heavily on supplier performance and SLAs. Possible qualifications; Service - ITIL Service Manager qualification; Finance - Membership CIMA or CCAB (ICAEW/ACCA/CIPFA/ICAS/Chartered Accountants Ireland), Commercial - Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing of Supply (CIPS).
