LOCATION: London JOB TITLE: Senior Account Manager APAC SALARY & BENEFITS: Up to £45k plus £25k OTC WORKING HOURS: Full Time (Monday - Friday) 9-5pm THE COMPANY: Our client is the world's leading provider of business and financial information for global corporations serving the agribusiness, feed additives and biotechnology sectors, with special insight into the animal nutrition and animal health industries. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Account Manager to join their team in London. THE ROLE: The successful applicant will have responsibility for planning and growth of our subscription numbers in the region, yields and retention rates in line with agreed annual and longer- term budgets; management and development of existing customers & development of new ones. Key responsibilities for the Senior Account Manager role is to include:- Work with the co-founder and Commercial Manager to plan and develop sales programmes across the APAC region. Commercial responsibility to deliver against agreed targets Identify, contact, visit and build a profile of key clients and prospects to better understand their information needs and internal priorities / processes Work closely with editorial, marketing, financial and technical teams to ensure the delivery and demonstration of tangible value for clients Develop and circulate a series of regular monthly reports of commercial KPI's to key stakeholders within the company Travel and attend key industry events Work closely with our marketing team to introduce improved CRM, lead scoring and prospecting activities to provide better visibility of pipelines THE CANDIDATE: The successful applicant for the Senior Account Manager will have excellent analytical skills, with great communication skills required for negotiating and liaising with other colleagues. You will need to have a strong customer focus with excellent leadership skills. You will need to live within a commutable distance to London or willing to relocate. Key skills and experience for the Senior Account Manager role:- Minimum of three years' direct sales experience within Publishing, Market Intelligence and or subscription sales A willingness to travel is essential A full UK drivers licence is advantageous Speaking Mandarin or any other languages is desirable but not essential Previous experience dealing with client's within the Asian market Experience within the Agricultural industry / commodities market is advantageous Does this sound like you?
