All XLN services offer substantial customer savings and market leading support The Position - Senior Software Developer - Full time - Reporting to Team Leader - Salary: £35K to £45k XLN are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our busy Sheffield office. The successful applicant will be responsible for Developing software and processes in all areas of the business to deliver reliable and usable applications that increase the revenue potential and maximise business opportunities. By joining the development team you will: - Develop cutting edge Angular / C# / .NET core / Web API / Micro-service solutions - Use OOP and SOLID coding principals to deliver stable, testable and maintainable software - Provide leadership and experience in a Scrum team of 5-7 team members - Deliver software using agile processes - Work with Amazon Web Services - Work with JIRA and the Atlassian tool chain - Contribute to the development of the business' technology platform - Be involved in the delivery of multiple projects to various business streams - Establish new ways of working and architecture moving forward - Gain extensive experience on different products and services offered by XLN Join our team if you like: - Writing clean code using OOP and SOLID coding principals - Working as a member of a Scrum Team - Creating cloud based solutions hosted in Amazon Web Services - Providing leadership and mentoring - Designing technical solutions to solve business problems - Working with multi-disciplinary project teams across the whole SDLC - Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Working with a diverse and high energy team of over 25 talented engineers - Continually learning and developing your skills Required experience and qualifications: - 3+ years' experience designing, developing and maintaining large-scale web applications using C# - Experience of mentoring junior developers or leading a team is beneficial - BSc (or equivalent) in Computing or related disciplines or significant industry experience - Strong OOP design skills, including good knowledge of design patterns and SOLID coding principals - Experience of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban The Benefits Package: - 22 days holiday per annum plus bonus holidays - Health care scheme - Pension match scheme - Free fruit on Mondays, free breakfast on Fridays - Various team and individual incentives (weekly, monthly and quarterly) To apply please click the APPLY button.
