This role will primarily be involved in preparation of CAD drawings for highway structures. The role: Provide a high quality service to ensure the achievement of service and personal performance targets including nationally and locally agreed key performance indicators. Continuously review and develop local systems and processes to ensure that the Department's services meet corporate and locally set quality standards. Plan and organise own and others work projects having regard to the effective use of resources and safe working practices Undertake production of CAD drawings in accordance with relevant drawing standards Manage and store drawings in accordance with QMS and other requirements Resolve complex service delivery issues and complaints in an appropriate and timely manner in accordance with policies and procedures Carry out other activities related to the highway bridge stock as directed by the Structures Manager Act as mentor, coaching and training colleagues in order to support learning and development objectives and priorities to meet service delivery standards. The minimum qualifications for this position are: · GCSE pass at grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language · HNC in Civil Engineering or Equivalent · Excellent ICT skills - advanced AutoCAD · R.C detailing · Computer Aided Design · Knowledge of bridge construction · Ability to work to deadlines The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: · HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent · Extensive Experience working in a bridge office Our CH2M Foundation are renowned for supporting and helping to nurture sustainable communities.
